Fairfax Performance Bridle: Crank Noseband (Inc Pad & Strap)

The Crack Noseband for the Fairfax Performance Bridle. The design of this makes it supremely comfortable for your horse. The raised prolite padded across the bridge of the nose allows room for your horse's nose to fully dilate to ensure maximum airflow in strenuous work.

Due to the Fairfax Performance Bridle's unique design and construction this bridle is not available to purchase as a complete bridle but is sold as individual bridle parts based on the horses' measurements to ensure the best fit possible. It is recommended the Fairfax Performance Bridle is fitted by a Fairfax trained fitter. Fairfax Performance Bridle

Never before has research been conducted specifically into the affect of bridle fit on performance. The Fairfax Performance Bridle is the result of two years research using the same pliance and gait analysis technology used to create the revolutionary Fairfax saddles. The results of the study have been published in the Journal of Equine Veterinary Science - the first paper regarding the effect of tack to be accepted in the journal's history.

This Fairfax Bridle has been designed to minimise pressure on all key sensitive areas, particularly the temporomandibular joint.

This bridle is proven to:

Reduce pressure by up to 84%
Reduce force by up to 77%
Allow greater forlimb extention
Increase knee and hock flexion

"Bought the crank cavesson for my existing Farifax bridle as I was previously using a drop noseband and wanted to simplify as my horse doesn't need the drop. The original standard jowl strap was too short to fit my horse's nose. Unicorn staff were very helpful in looking at photos, advising on size and exchanging for a longer jowl strap. As expected very good quality leather and workmanship. Padding seems to be very comfortable on the horse. As a bonus he looks rather handsome in it too."
