French Link Eggbutt Snaffle

The plate lies flat agaisnt the tongue and breaks the snaffle's normal 'nutcracker' action. The jointed Eggbutt of the French School where the central link reduces the nutcracker action and the Eggbutt gives a more direct action than the loose rings. The Eggbutt also avoids pinching.
