Rider safety isn't an area to cut corners on, and our riding hats and body protectors range reflects that. We stock certified protective wear for every level of riding, from first lessons through to competition, with brands chosen because they hold up when it matters, not just because they look the part.

Our riding hats range includes skull caps and hat silks alongside full helmets, with Samshield and Charles Owen covering everything from everyday schooling hats to competition-ready designs with the latest safety technology built in. Younger riders aren't an afterthought either, our children's riding hats cover the same certified standards in sizes built for growing heads.

For body protection, our range runs from entry-level protectors through to air vests for cross country and jumping. Racesafe leads the way here, with UK-manufactured protectors built to BETA standards and designed to move with you rather than against you.

Fit is everything with safety wear. A hat or body protector that doesn't sit right won't protect you the way it should, whatever the label says. That's why we'd always recommend trying before you buy, and our Taunton showroom is set up for exactly that, with staff who can properly fit hats and body protectors rather than just point you at a size chart.
