The Neue Schule Tranz Angled Lozenge Loose Ring Pony is a gentle training snaffle which features neat and scaled-down cheeks and mouthpieces to suit ponies. This snaffle is designed to enhance feel and responsiveness, improving communication through the rein. The arms of the mouthpiece are slightly curved and oval, enabling the mouthpiece to take up less room between the tongue and the upper palate for a more comfortable bit. The mouthpiece features Neue Schule's unique Tranz Angled Lozenge, which has a rounded shape to prevent too much pressure on the tongue. This lozenge promotes salivation and mouthing, allowing the horse to soften and not lean. The Loose Ring designs enable this bit to be more mobile in the mouth, encouraging the horse to relax the jaw and mouth the bit, whilst helping to prevent leaning.
Neue Schule bits are made from Salox Gold, a unique engineering metal that rapidly reaches body temperature, vastly improving comfort in the horse's mouth. This material is also softer than traditional stainless steel, reducing 'jarring' and tooth wear by absorbing impact forces into the bit rather than the teeth. By creating a warmer and softer feeling in the horse's mouth, this bit helps promote a soft and consistent contact, encouraging relaxed acceptance of the bit.
