Product FAQs
What is an anatomic bridle?
An anatomic bridle has a headpiece shaped to ease pressure on the poll and cut away from the base of the ears. It's designed for horses that are sensitive around the head or tense in the contact.
What is Ecosoft leather?
Ecosoft is EcoRider's own leather. It's vegetable-tanned and soft from new, so bridles need very little breaking in.
What does vegetable-tanned mean?
Vegetable tanning uses natural plant extracts to turn hides into leather, instead of the chromium salts used in most modern tanning.
Can I use an EcoRider bridle without the flash?
Yes. Many EcoRider bridles come with a removable flash, so you can use the noseband with or without it.
How do I look after an EcoRider bridle?
Wipe off sweat and mud after riding, then condition the leather regularly with a balsam to keep it supple. EcoRider makes its own Ecosoft Balsam.
