Dengie Fresh Bed is made from dust-extracted chopped straw coated with pine oil, which provides natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It was developed in collaboration with the British Hen Welfare Trust to ensure hens, especially ex-commercial birds, feel warm, cosy, and secure. The bedding absorbs moisture, droppings, and odors, while also cushioning chickens’ feet and providing comfort in nesting boxes
