Product Description
Rainy days needn't stop play – especially when they're wearing our Puddle Pals Wellies!
Made from a hardwearing natural rubber mix, they stop water from getting in, even when splashing and wading through the deepest muddy puddles.
The grippy horseshoe and star-print soles stop little ones from slipping as they play, while the printed cotton lining and fun equine characters make these wellies perfect for stepping out in whatever the weather.
For extra comfort and support, there's a removable insock – perfect for long play days on their feet!
Product FAQs
Where are Bates saddles from?
Bates is an Australian company, founded in Perth in 1934 by George Bates. It's still family-owned and sells saddles in more than 30 countries.
What is the Bates EasyChange gullet system?
EasyChange lets you change the width of a Bates saddle by swapping the gullet. On most saddles made since 2010, the gullet is reached by removing two external screws.
Can I change the gullet on a Bates saddle myself?
The swap itself is straightforward, but choosing the right width is the hard part. Have a qualified saddle fitter assess your horse before you change it.
What is CAIR?
CAIR is Bates' cushion system, used in the panels of many Bates saddles as an alternative to wool flocking. Bates advises against removing it.
Are Bates and Wintec the same company?
Bates and Wintec are separate brands owned by the same group, Saddlery Brands International.
Can you fit a Bates saddle to my horse?
Yes. Philip Ireland, our Society of Master Saddlers qualified fitter, fits saddles in our own arena. Call 01823 481484 to book.
