The Sweet Iron Loose Ring Bradoon is a palatable single jointed snaffle which uses a 'nutcracker' action to apply pressure to the tongue, lips and the bars of the mouth. The loose ring design also makes this bit more mobile in the mouth, which helps prevent leaning. The Sweet Iron mouthpiece creates a pleasant taste in the mouth, whilst the level copper inserts create a warmer feeling in the mouth. Both metals combined in the mouthpiece help to promote salivation and softening, encouraging the horse to accept the bit more readily.
